Some of the greatest joys of our internship program come when we get to watch our interns spread their wings—and today, we get to celebrate one of those incredible moments.

Just a few weeks ago, Sarah House graduated from East Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Leadership & Communication and a minor in Agricultural Education. We couldn't be prouder of everything she has accomplished.
Over the past several months, Sarah has been an important part of the Texas Equine Education & Horsemanship™ family as one of our Marketing Communications Interns in the Equine Industry Readiness Program™. Whether she was helping with communications, brainstorming new ideas, taking photos at events, writing blogs, supporting our educational initiatives, or lending a hand wherever needed, Sarah consistently demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and a genuine heart for serving others.
Sarah has always had a passion for agriculture and education, and from the very beginning, she shared her dream of becoming an agricultural science teacher. Today, we're thrilled to celebrate that dream becoming a reality!
This fall, Sarah will begin her teaching career as an Agricultural Mechanics teacher at Cooper ISD, where she will teach alongside another teacher. She brings with her valuable experience developing student leaders, preparing projects for competition and exhibition, and supporting high-quality agricultural education. We know her students will benefit from her enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment to helping young people succeed.
While we're certainly going to miss having Sarah as part of our intern team, there is nothing more rewarding than watching our interns launch into careers where they can make a lasting impact. Seeing our students and interns achieve their goals is exactly why we created the Equine Industry Readiness Program™—to help prepare the next generation of agricultural professionals and educators.
Congratulations, Sarah! Thank you for everything you've contributed to Texas Equine over the past several months. We are so proud of you, and we know this is only the beginning of an incredible career. Your future students are lucky to have you, and we can't wait to see all that you accomplish.
Help Sarah Start Her Classroom
As Sarah prepares for her very first year of teaching, she's putting together her classroom and shop. If you'd like to help welcome a new agricultural educator to the profession, consider purchasing an item from her classroom wish list.
