There are horses for every level of rider, both English and Western. Both in person and online horse shows are offered. The setting is beautiful. Too wet to ride? "We absolutely love Texas Equine Education & Horsemanship. Shelby is a dedicated and attentive instructor. She modifies lessons as needed to meet the child where they are for the day. We appreciate that she teaches the kids to care for the horse as well as just ride them -- they tack the horse every lesson. Even though the barn/facility is far from our house, it's worth the drive for the attention and care that Shelby gives our daughter in her equine education endeavors.My daughter has also had two birthday parties now that involved TEEH. The first, we hired Princess Reign as a unicorn pony for the party at our house. The kids adored Princess Reign and got to decorate her with bows and chalk. The second, we had at the TEEH facility. Shelby and company went above and beyond what was asked to make the party a smashing success. Not only did the kids get to ride the horses for a bit, but they also got to do crafts prepared by the staff and make snacks for the horses. It was wonderful, and a great bargain for the price! "Shelby not only saved our horse's life, but she touched our lives in ways we could have never imagined. With no horse transportation or stables to keep the injured filly, she was in danger of her injury turning into infection and having additional damage to her leg that would have been life-ending. In addition to being our hero in this desperate situation, over the next year Shelby patiently trained us, encouraged us, and helped us to start down the road of becoming educated horse owners.
