Tips & Inspiration for Your Entries

Photographing Your Artwork

  • Lighting: Use soft, natural light to make colors stand out. Avoid harsh shadows.

  • Background: Keep it plain and neutral to highlight your piece.

  • Angles: 2D art should be photographed straight-on; 3D art should include multiple angles plus a 360° video if possible.

Whether you prefer realistic portraits, abstract designs, playful pony scenes, equine landscapes, or any other style, your unique vision is what makes your artwork special. There’s no wrong way to express your love for horses — the most important thing is to have fun and let your creativity shine!
