At Texas Equine Education & Horsemanship, every horse leaves hoofprints on our hearts, and Ace is certainly no exception.
Over the past several years, Ace has been a cherished part of the Texas Equine family. Born in 2004, this sweet Quarter Horse gelding brought so much joy, personality, and laughter to the barn. Known for being both kind-hearted and a little silly at times, Ace always had a way of making people smile. Whether he was heading out on a trail ride or simply enjoying attention from those around him, Ace’s fun-loving spirit made him a favorite among riders, staff, and visitors alike.
Most importantly, Ace has always been deeply loved by his owners, Ellen and James. Recently, Ellen made the heartfelt decision to move Ace to a facility closer to home so she could spend more time with him and be more involved in his daily life. While we will certainly miss seeing his sweet face around the barn, we completely understand the decision and know how much he means to his family.
One of the hardest parts of loving horses is knowing that sometimes their journeys lead them in different directions. While Ace may no longer physically be at Texas Equine, he will always remain part of our story and part of our family.
We are incredibly thankful for the time we shared with him, the memories made in the arena, pasture and around the barn, and the joy he brought to so many people over the years.
We wish Ace, Ellen, and James nothing but happiness in this next chapter, and we hope Ace enjoys every moment of the love, attention, and adventures waiting for him in his new home.
Once Texas Equine family, always Texas Equine family.
