Welcome, Lil Caesar!

At just 26 inches tall, we are excited to officially introduce the tiniest horse at Texas Equine — sweet little Lil Caesar! And while many people might call him a pony, he is actually a miniature horse… and he is absolutely precious.

Lil Caesar is a beautiful palomino pinto with the sweetest little personality. He loves affection, scratches, and meeting new friends, and it did not take long at all for him to begin winning hearts around the barn.

His journey here started unexpectedly. His owner had originally purchased him to be a companion for a stud horse, but unfortunately, the stud had other ideas and was not kind to this sweet baby. The day we picked Lil Caesar up, he had been kicked in the face, leaving him with a scratch and a swollen little cheek. While it was heartbreaking to see him hurt, we are incredibly thankful he is now safe, loved, and settling into his new home here at Texas Equine.

We are praying for a quick and complete recovery for this precious little guy.

Despite everything, Lil Caesar has already fit right into the herd. One of the sweetest things to watch has been Princess Reign completely adopting him as her own. She seems convinced that he is her baby, and honestly… it is one of the cutest things ever. Watching the two of them together has already brought so many smiles to the barn.

We are still getting to know Lil Caesar and all of his little quirks and personality traits, but one thing is already very clear — he is incredibly special. We cannot wait for all of you to get to know him too.
