Welcome, Charlie! Texas Equine’s Newest Tiny Tots Superstar

Updated: Apr 1

Big news at Texas Equine—there’s a new pony in town! Meet Charlie, our sweet and talented 18-year-old bay Shetland Pony gelding. With his gentle disposition and impressive background, we know he’ll be an incredible addition to our program, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce him to everyone!

Charlie has worn many hats in his lifetime, proving that he’s as versatile as he is adorable. Most recently, he’s been delighting children by giving rides in petting zoos at corporate events and festivals. Before that, he had a thrilling career in rodeo, competing in barrel racing—a testament to his agility and speed! Now, he’s settling into his next big adventure at Texas Equine, where he’s already making a difference in our Tiny Tots Program.

One of the most heartwarming things about Charlie’s arrival is his budding friendship with Princess Reign, the Magical Pony. We might even start calling him Prince Charles because these two are quickly becoming quite the royal pair! They’ve been enjoying their time together, and we can’t wait to see their bond grow.

Charlie’s calm and affectionate nature makes him a perfect fit for our youngest students, and he’s already stealing hearts left and right. Whether he’s giving confidence to little ones in the saddle or simply enjoying some well-earned scratches, he’s proving to be a fantastic addition to our equine family. We can't wait for you to meet him!

The next time you visit Texas Equine, be sure to say hello and give Charlie a warm welcome! We just know he’s going to become a favorite among riders and visitors alike. Here’s to new adventures with our newest pony superstar!
