There has to be something magical about the number 3 today—because Shelby is turning 33 on the 3rd today, and we couldn’t let this day pass without celebrating the heart and soul of Texas Equine.

Shelby truly is the lifeblood of Texas Equine. Her passion, vision, and unwavering dedication are what continue to shape who we are and where we’re headed. She loves each horse as if they were her own children—and anyone who spends time at the barn can see it instantly. The horses’ loyalty to her, their willingness to try harder, and their quiet trust is something incredibly heartfelt and rewarding to witness. That bond directly translates into the safe, supportive, and meaningful experiences our riders have every single day.

Like many people, Shelby could have chosen something personal or fun for her birthday—but when asked what she wanted, her answer said everything about who she is:

“Better arena footing for our horses and riders.”

So this year, we’re being a little bold and celebrating Shelby by giving back in the way she cares about most. We’ve created a birthday fundraiser dedicated entirely to improving our arena footing—for the comfort, safety, and well-being of both horses and riders.
