What to Wear for Lessons

English Boots:

Dressage boots offer support and stability to the rider's lower leg, maintaining proper position and preventing interference with the horse's sides. The tall, slim profile and sturdy leather construction provide protection against accidental knocks or brushes with the horse's body. Paddock boots are also perfectly acceptable and are typically a more realistic option for students who are still growing.

The heel prevents the foot from slipping through the stirrup, while the sturdy construction protects the feet and ankles from potential injuries caused by the horse's weight and movement.
