What Is the Texas Equine Industry Readiness Program?

Our internship program gives participants hands-on experience in horse care and equine facility operations while developing essential life and professional skills. Interns will spend time:

  • Handling and caring for horses

  • Interacting with equine professionals

  • Gaining insight into the day-to-day operations of a working equine facility

But that’s not all. Alongside the physical work, interns also develop critical soft skills like:

✅ Confidence

✅ Time management

✅ Efficiency

✅ Problem-solving

✅ Self-awareness

This well-rounded experience makes our internship an ideal stepping stone into the equine industry.
