Bravo Bucks are Texas Equine’s collectible reward Bucks, created to make learning, participating, and getting involved even more fun. You can earn Bravo Bucks by participating in eligible Texas Equine activities, volunteering, writing about horses, competing in select events, completing special challenges, and more.

Some opportunities might earn you a Bravo $1, while bigger accomplishments can earn larger amounts. Every Bravo Buck counts!
Earn them. Collect them. Trade them. Spend them. Save them. What you do with your Bravo Bucks is up to you.

Save 500 Bravo Bucks and you'll reach one of the biggest milestones in the Bravo Bucks program. Along the way, every Buck represents something you did—something you learned, created, accomplished, or contributed.

And Bravo Bucks aren't just for kids! While many earning opportunities are designed with young horse enthusiasts in mind, anyone can join the fun when an activity is open to their age group.

How Bravo Bucks Work
Earning Bravo Bucks is simple: participate, create, learn, help, and accomplish!
Texas Equine offers different opportunities throughout the year to earn Bravo Bucks. Each eligible activity has a specific Bravo Buck value based on the type of activity, time involved, or accomplishment. Some opportunities are available to everyone, while others may have age, participation, or program requirements.
Earn Your Bucks
Bravo Bucks can be earned in lots of different ways! You might earn them by volunteering at Texas Equine, participating in an event, entering a Texas Equine competition or horse show, writing or researching a horse-related topic, or completing another designated Bravo Buck activity.
You only earn Bravo Bucks for activities specifically identified as Bravo Buck earning opportunities.
Save Your Bucks
Don't spend those Bucks too quickly!
Bravo Bucks are designed to be collected and saved over time. A Bravo $1 may not seem like much at first, but every story written, event volunteered, competition entered, and accomplishment achieved can move you a little closer to your ultimate goal.
Keep your physical Bravo Bucks safe. Texas Equine may not be able to replace lost, damaged, or discarded Bravo Bucks.
Spend Your Bucks
Bravo Bucks are fun to earn, collect, and save—but you can spend them, too!
Bravo Bucks may be used toward eligible Allstride Outfitters merchandise, Texas Equine lessons, services, activities, and other designated rewards.

Eligible products and services will have their own Bravo Buck price, so you'll know exactly how many Bravo Bucks you'll need. Allstride Outfitters merchandise will soon begin displaying Bravo Buck prices along with regular pricing.

You can spend your Bucks along the way, save them for something you really want, or keep building your collection as you work toward the Bravo 500!
Bravo Bucks Have No Cash Value
Bravo Bucks are collectible reward Bucks created for fun, recognition, participation, and achievement. They are not real currency, gift cards, stored-value cards, or cash equivalents.T
here is no fixed U.S. dollar exchange rate for Bravo Bucks.I
nstead, Texas Equine establishes a separate Bravo Buck price for each eligible product, lesson, service, activity, or reward. A posted Bravo Buck price does not give Bravo Bucks a corresponding cash value.
Bravo Bucks cannot be redeemed through Texas Equine for U.S. dollars or other real-world currency.
Using Bravo Bucks for Lessons & Services
Want to turn some of those Bucks into more time with the horses?
Eligible Texas Equine lessons, activities, and services may have their own designated Bravo Buck price. Just like merchandise, the Bravo Buck amount is a separate redemption price rather than a conversion from U.S. dollars.
That means you can decide what you'd rather do with your collection—use some toward a lesson or experience, spend them at Allstride Outfitters, or keep saving.
Physical Bravo Bucks Only
Bravo Bucks are physical collectibles.
There are no digital Bravo Bucks. To use your Bravo Bucks, the physical Bucks must be submitted to Texas Equine in person or by mail. Once submitted for redemption, those Bucks are considered spent.
Keep your Bravo Bucks somewhere safe until you're ready to use them!
Collect & Trade
You don't have to spend every Bravo Buck you earn.
Bravo Bucks are collectibles in their own right, and collectors are welcome to trade Bravo Bucks with one another. You might be working toward collecting the different denominations, building your total, or simply holding onto your favorites.
Trading Bravo Bucks does not change their status as collectibles with no cash value, and Texas Equine does not exchange Bravo Bucks for real-world currency.
Some Activities Have Special Requirements
Certain Bravo Buck opportunities have specific requirements that must be completed before Bucks are awarded. For example, writing submissions must be horse/equine-related and meet the requirements for that writing category. Research papers may require sources and citations, and competition awards are based on the rules established for that particular competition.
Always check the requirements before beginning an activity if you're completing it specifically to earn Bravo Bucks.
Submit it to Earn it
For activities completed away from Texas Equine, we need a way to verify what you've accomplished.
Writing, research, artwork, and other eligible projects must be submitted to Texas Equine according to the instructions for that activity before Bravo Bucks can be awarded. Simply completing an activity at home does not automatically qualify unless it is an established Bravo Buck opportunity.
Bigger Accomplishments Can Mean Bigger Bucks
Not every activity earns the same amount.
Some simple participation opportunities may earn a Bravo $1 or $2, while volunteering, writing projects, competition achievements, research projects, and other significant accomplishments can earn larger denominations.
The more involved the accomplishment, the greater the opportunity may be!
Everyone Can Participate
Bravo Bucks are especially designed to encourage young horse enthusiasts to learn, create, participate, and get involved—but kids aren't the only ones who can earn them!
Many Bravo Buck opportunities are open to teens and adults, too. Individual activities may have their own age or eligibility requirements.
Keep an Eye Out for New Opportunities!
Bravo Buck opportunities can pop up throughout the year at Texas Equine, online, at community events, during competitions, through volunteer opportunities, and in special programs.
Whenever you see “Earn Bravo Bucks!”, you've found another chance to add to your collection.
Spend Them or Save Them?
That's completely up to you!
Spend them on eligible merchandise, lessons, activities, or rewards.
Collect them because you love the Bucks themselves.
Trade them with other Bravo Buck collectors.
Or...
