Join the Texas Equine Barn Experience Program, a structured 12-week volunteer program designed for individuals 16 years of age and older who want to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with horses in a professional teaching barn. Participants assist with daily barn responsibilities, including feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, horse handling, and tack maintenance, while developing practical horsemanship skills and a strong work ethic. Weekly volunteer shifts and check-in meetings are required, while our horsemanship classes, virtual education courses, and Connecteam learning modules are available as optional educational opportunities to further enrich the experience. All participants must attend a Volunteer Orientation prior to beginning the program.
